BANGKOK, 12 September 2016 (NNT) – Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health Dr. Sophon Mekthon encouraged people to destroy mosquito breeding grounds to prevent Zika virus.

Dr. Sophon said Zika virus is commonly found in ASEAN countries. Adults, who have come down with the disease, can become better without having to receive medical treatments as the disease is milder than dengue fever.
