Two Myanmar migrant workers charged with killing two British tourists on Koh Tao off Surat Thani last October appeared before Koh Samui provincial court Wednesday morning in the first hearing of the trial.

The trial attracted the attention of both local and foreign media and members of the public who packed the courtroom.
