TAT: Overseas tourists can be less worried about safety while traveling in Thailand

BANGKOK, 27 August 2014 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has taken the lead in calming overseas tourists’ worries about safety while traveling in the country, with a special protection program made available by local insurance companies.

The TAT has joined hands with the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) in promoting Thailand’s travel industry among foreign holiday-makers who have been scared off by months of political instability and travel advisory from dozens of governments.
