Thai police seize 200 kg of marijuana at Mekong River

NAKHON PHANOM, June 19 – Thai Border Patrol Police seized almost 200 kilogrammes of marijuana with as estimated street value of Bt5 million on the banks of the Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom’s Tha Uthen district, directly opposite the Lao PDR.

Border Patrol Police Unit 237 in Tha Uthen district released a statement on the seizure of 198 kilogrammes of marijuana sticks, worth an estimated Bt5 million on the street.
