A British man was injured and traffic in East Pattaya was seriously disrupted on Wednesday night after a high-speed collision on the railway crossing on Soi Khao Noi.

62-year-old Mario Sambucci was driving an open-top jeep along Soi Khao Noi and was struck by another 4×4 as he crossed the northbound carriageway of the Pattaya bypass, causing the jeep to flip onto its roof.
