Five arrested with crystal meth and 700,000 speed pills in Chiang Rai

CHIANG RAI, 23 March 2014 (NNT) – Anti-narcotics police confiscated more than 30 kilograms of crystal meth and 700,000 speed pills in an operation in the north of Thailand on the weekend.

Acting on a tip off, police followed a pick up truck on the highway between Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai to a meeting point with others in a suspected drug supply chain.
