After spending Christmas Eve on Walking Street, two Russian women were walking back to their Pratumnak Hill hotel in the early morning hours, but were forced at gunpoint into a pickup truck by three Thai men.
The men robbed and raped the women in a forested area in Huay Yai and left them there. The victims were identified as Ms. Maria, age 30; and Ms. Anastasis, age 31; both Russians.
