Eastern Bangkok should brace for flood: Yingluck

Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Thursday warned about pending flood in eastern areas of Bangkok, saying the inundation might be about 20 to 30 centimeters as run-off would be drained into the sea via Bang Pakong River.

“Every effort will be made to slow down the water flow in order to minimise the damage,” she said.
