Australian man arrested over cocaine in Thailand
A SYDNEY man could face the death penalty in Thailand after being arrested allegedly in possession of 2.2kg of cocaine.
The 47-year-old was arrested in Bangkok on November 30, along with a British man, 59, after a police sting. Police allege he was trafficking the drugs.
The man is receiving help from Australian consular officials.
