Eleven passengers died and four others were seriously injured when a passenger van from Chonburi skidded and crashed into a concrete barrier and caught fire on Kilometre 63 on the Chonburi-Bangkok motorway near Panas Nikom tollgate at 9.00 pm Friday night.

The fatal crash caused heavy traffic jam on the motorway to Bangkok.
