Martial Law lifted, article 44 replaces it

Four core media bodies have expressed alarm over the military regime’s power to ban media reports, invoked under Section 44 of the interim charter, and called on the junta to define the order’s scope.

They are the Thai Journalists Association (TJA), the National Press Council of Thailand, the Thai Broadcast Journalists Association, and the News Broadcasting Council of Thailand.
