PATTAYA – A public brawl involving several individuals broke out just meters from the Pattaya City Police Station on Tuesday evening, raising concerns over safety in the popular tourist area. The altercation occurred around 6:30 p.m. in a narrow alley off Pattaya Beach Soi 9, close to street vendor stalls.

Video footage circulated online shows a group of Thai men and women, believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, engaged in a physical confrontation. The fight split into two separate clashes: two men attacking a third individual, while two women exchanged blows. Bystanders eventually stepped in to separate those involved, despite the presence of a uniformed police officer nearby.

By the time reporters arrived at the scene, all participants had dispersed. No official complaints have been filed with police, and the exact cause of the altercation remains unconfirmed.

A local resident who recorded part of the incident, stated that the shirtless man seen in the video is a grilled chicken vendor who operates in the alley. According to his account, a rival group arrived to “settle a dispute,” which escalated from a planned one-on-one fight into a group scuffle.
