Indian National Arrested in Cha-am for Alleged Murder of Eight-Year-Old Stepson

An Indian national has been taken into custody in Cha-am, Phetchaburi province, following the death of his eight-year-old stepson in a suspected case of fatal assault. The suspect, 33-year-old Mr. Kanthoran Singh, was arrested on November 10th after police obtained a court warrant charging him with causing death by assault.

The tragic discovery was made on November 9th when the boy was found lifeless inside the family’s residence in the Hua Sai Tai community. First responders reported finding the child with foam around his mouth, visible bruising, and bloodstains on his bed. A subsequent autopsy revealed the cause of death as multiple severe injuries, including bleeding under the meninges, internal chest cavity hemorrhage, a ruptured stomach, and numerous blunt-force traumas.

Police investigators confirmed that Singh was the only adult present with the child at the time of the incident. Despite the suspect’s denial of all allegations during interrogation, authorities are proceeding with their case based on the compelling forensic evidence and witness statements. The suspect remains detained at Cha-am Police Station as officers continue to build their case for prosecution.
