Deciding to temporarily leave the cash in a envelope inside his car, he went to run errands in the mall. Upon returning, he was shocked to find the car’s right rear window shattered and the money gone. He immediately reported the theft to the Nonthaburi Police Station.
Police investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the shopping mall parking lot, which revealed the suspect arriving on a Honda Wave motorcycle. The footage captured Mr. A. breaking the car window, stealing the envelope containing the cash, and fleeing the scene. Authorities traced his movements to a house in Sai Mai, Bangkok, where his Thai wife resides. After changing the motorcycle’s license plate, the suspect allegedly escaped to Pattaya, Chonburi.
