Phuket Law Enforcement Reports Arrests of 1,625 Foreigners for Traffic Violations in Just Seven Days

Phuket– Over a span of seven days, from February 10th to February 16th, Phuket Immigration officials arrested a total of 1,625 foreigners for breaking traffic laws.

Thai Police Chief Vows Crackdown on Law-Breaking Israeli Tourists in Pai District

In addition to traffic-related arrests, officials reported the following:

1. Thirty arrests under the Immigration Act.
2. Nine arrests under the Tourism Business and Guide Act.
3. Eight arrests for operating businesses without legal permission.
4. Eight arrests for illegal possession and sale of drugs.
5. Ten arrests for drunk driving.
6. Eighteen arrests on outstanding warrants.
