Wichayen House, Lopburi

The Wichayen House (บ้าน วิชาเยนทร์) is a 17th century ambassador’s royal residence located in Lop Buri, Central Thailand.

King Narai the Great, the king of Ayutthaya, built this palace in 1658 for the French ambassadors that visited the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The center of the building complex is a Christian church with a bell tower, which was built in a mix of Thai and European styles.

Baan Wichayen is open from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm except Mondays and Tuesdays.
