Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) in Krabi

Wat Tham Suea also known as Tiger Cave Temple (วัดถ้ำเสือ กระบี่) is a fascinating Buddhist temple located at the top of a mountain in Krabi, Southern Thailand, about 782 km from Bangkok.

The Tiger Cave Temple is well known for its stairway with 1,237 steps and the tiger paw prints in the cave, also visitors can see human skeletons and skulls.

At the top of the mountain there is a large golden Buddha statue, and tourists can enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding limestone karsts landscapes and Krabi town.

Wat Tham Sueais home of hundreds of monkeys living in the caves located at the foothills. This amazing temple is a “must-see” if you’re visiting Krabi.
