Drugs suspects elude arrest in Chiang Mai, leave meth behind

Police, soldiers and Interior Ministry officials gave chase to three drug suspects in Chiang Mai late Monday night but ended up with just their abandoned pickup and 400,000 methamphetamine pills.

Tipped off by an informant, the team was staking out a border road location in Ai district when the pickup approached at high speed.
