Thai policeman turns gun on superior

The superintendent of Sukhothai’s Sri Samrong district police station died from gunshot wounds after being shot at by his subordinate at 9.20am yesterday. Pol Lt-Colonel Jakrarom Thoopjaem, who heads the station’s crime suppression division, allegedly shot Pol Colonel Thanatpong Prasertsiriprapa, who was pronounced dead in hospital later.
