PATTAYA – A violent public altercation between Arab and European foreign tourists erupted on a busy street in central Pattaya, resulting in injuries and widespread disruption before police intervened. The brawl, captured in a widely shared online video, occurred on South Pattaya Road in front of the TukCom Pattaya building, a bustling commercial and tourist zone.

The incident began as a verbal argument following a reported motorcycle sideswipe. According to police and witness accounts, the confrontation rapidly escalated into a physical fight involving two British nationals and a group of five Middle Eastern tourists, including three men and two women. Video footage showed the individuals chasing each other on motorcycles before stopping to engage in a chaotic fight in the middle of the road, drawing crowds and halting traffic.
During the altercation, a pregnant woman from the Middle Eastern group was struck and injured while attempting to intervene. Another man from the same group was knocked to the ground. One of the British men fled the scene on a motorcycle, leaving his companion behind.

Police from Pattaya City Police Station detained all involved parties. Officers confirmed the fight originated from the traffic dispute and charged each individual with jointly engaging in a public fight, issuing fines of 500 baht per person. The injured pregnant woman received medical treatment at a local hospital and was later discharged, with doctors confirming her safety.
