CHUMPHON – A 40-year-old man has been apprehended after a shooting spree with an M16 rifle left one person dead and another seriously injured in Chumphon province on November 20th. The violent episode prompted authorities to issue urgent shelter-in-place warnings as police launched a massive manhunt across multiple districts.

Four Suspects Arrested in Fatal M4 Assault Rifle Attack in Rayong

The attacks began around 2:15 PM in two locations within Hong Charoen and Sapphanan subdistricts, where the gunman also shot a dog before fleeing. Police from Tha Sae and Salui stations immediately secured the crime scenes while warning residents to remain indoors, lock their doors, and closely supervise vulnerable family members.
