Authorities were alerted around 5 a.m. after the guard witnessed the man, identified as Kurtis Antoine Max C., standing on his balcony with his arms outstretched. The guard immediately notified rescue services after being unable to reach the guest in time. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Dhammastan Foundation discovered the man lying motionless in the hotel parking area with severe head trauma and a broken right leg. Despite performing CPR and rushing him to Pattaya Hospital, medical staff pronounced him dead shortly afterward due to massive blood loss.

Police examining Room 514, where the tourist had been staying alone, discovered two bags of cannabis and partially consumed drug remnants. Investigators confirmed the room had been locked from the inside and found no evidence of a struggle. Preliminary reports indicated the man had recently experienced relationship conflicts with his girlfriend, though authorities continue investigating whether personal distress, substance use, or other factors contributed to the tragedy.
