Foreign Tourists Violently Attack Pattaya Waitresses in Shocking Beachfront Assault

PATTAYA, May 20 – A routine meal turned into a nightmare for two local waitresses when they were brutally beaten by a foreign woman and her companion after politely asking them to lower their voices at a Jomtien eatery yesterday afternoon.

The victims, Ms. Ro (26) and Ms. Ru (33), shared harrowing CCTV footage showing the unprovoked attack that occurred around 2:06 PM. According to their account, the violence erupted after Ms. Ro requested the group – which included a foreign woman and her Thai companion – to quiet down their loud conversation.

“What started as a simple request turned into hell,” Ms. Ru told reporters. “They immediately cursed us, asking if our parents were dead. When I said my father had passed, they attacked.”

The footage shows:

-One assailant grabbing Ms. Ro’s hair and dragging her toward the beach

– Attempted strikes with a beer bottle

– A vicious jump-kick that knocked Ms. Ro to the ground

– Continued beating despite shouts from horrified tourists

Bleeding and traumatized, the waitresses received hospital treatment before filing police reports. They expressed fears their case might be ignored due to their working-class status.

Pattaya police confirm they’ve obtained the CCTV evidence and are working to identify the suspects, who casually returned to drinking after the assault. Authorities vow to pursue justice in what they call “a disgraceful attack on hospitality workers.”
