Drunk Myanmar Man Drives Pickup Truck into Motorcycle Near Pattaya, Killing One Person and Injuring Another

On March 29, 2025, at 9:00 PM, the radio center of the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Unit in Pattaya received a report of a traffic accident involving a pickup truck driver colliding with a motorcycle on Sukhumvit Road, in front of the Ban Rong Po gas station, heading toward Bangkok. The crash resulted in one fatality and one injury.

At the scene, authorities discovered a severely damaged black Honda PCX motorcycle, registered in Bangkok. Nearby, a critically injured woman, Ms. Warunee Yimsing, 39, was found. Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate her with CPR, but she succumbed to her injuries shortly afterward. Another victim, Ms. Thipwawan Boonkhong, 36, sustained a head injury and multiple abrasions across her body. Rescue workers provided first aid before rushing her to a local hospital.
