Tourists in Pattaya have resorted to urinating and even allegedly defecating near the deputy police chief’s car after the city’s police station restrooms were shut down due to a water outage.

On February 10th, local reporters reported that tourists, both Thai and foreign, regularly gather in front of the Pattaya Police Station to enjoy drinks and the seaside atmosphere. The area, located across from the station and near a major shopping mall, has become a common spot for visitors.
