Pol. Lt. Gen. Saksira revealed that the operation was in response to the Thai Prime Minister’s policy to improve tourism in the fourth quarter of 2024. It was also in line with the Minister of Tourism and Sports’ measures to enhance confidence in the safety of Thai tourism.
