Chumphon police manning a road checkpoint intercepted a truck transporting 700 kilograms of crystal meth (“ice”) from Chiang Mai early Wednesday.

Driver Ampol Sitthiboontha, a resident of Chiang Mai’s Doi Lor district, was arrested.
