Mr. Sermsak has proposed during the 1st education meeting attended by representatives from local education offices across the country that students should be allowed to take the tablets home.
The tablets given to Grade 1 students were part of the government’s one tablet per child policy. Mr. Sermsak said it is the wish of the Ministry of Education to make the most of the tablets by allowing them to be used at home.
He said children as well as their parents can be part of the learning experience. He added that the devices were not allowed to be taken home because they could have been damaged.
