Bombing attempt on Narathiwat teacher protection unit: no injuries

NARATHIWAT, Aug 16 – An apparent manually-detonated bomb exploded without effect as an eight-man teacher protection unit passed by before the explosive went off. There were no injuries.

Sgt Kengkat Siri led his team of seven soldiers on foot patrol along a road in Ruso district to provide security for teachers going to a school early this morning.
