Bangkok – Thai authorities on Friday ordered a crackdown on a new form of underground lottery that promises winners a night in bed with a woman instead of the usual monetary reward.

National Police Bureau spokesman Police Major General Prawut Thavornsiri said the so-called ‘thrilling lottery’ had become increasing popular among male factory workers, especially in Ayutthaya province, 90 kilometres north of Bangkok.
