Pattaya Tourist Police arrest Swiss suspected child abuser and Thai drug dealing suspect
A Swiss man accused of a sexual encounter with a minor and a suspected class 1 drug dealer were paraded in front of local journalists at a press conference held at the Pattaya Tourist Police Station just after 3.30 on Thursday Morning.
Police Captain Yosapong, Deputy Inspector at the station led the press conference and began by announcing the arrest of Mr. Hugo Stephan Leuthold aged 80 from Switzerland who was spotted close to Walking Street, hand-in-hand with a 12 year old boy.
Undercover officers followed the man to the Honey Inn Hotel located in Soi 10 off Pattaya Second Road and waited for the boy to re-appear. He was approached and suggested that Mr. Leuthold had given him 500 Baht for oral sex.
