Indian Tourist Assaulted in Pattaya Following Dispute Over Payment
PATTAYA – An Indian tourist was hospitalized after being assaulted by a group of transgender individuals in central Pattaya in the early hours of December 27, following an alleged dispute over payment for services.
Indian Tourist Alleges Herbal Remedy Scam in Pattaya
The incident, partly captured in videos circulating online, shows three transgender women confronting the 52-year-old Indian national, identified as Mr. R. J., near the entrance to Walking Street. According to witness accounts and preliminary reports, the altercation began when Mr. J. allegedly refused to pay the full amount agreed upon for sexual services.
In the video, the individuals are seen attempting to prevent Mr. J. from leaving in a car before he is pulled out of the vehicle with the assistance of bystanders. He was then kicked and punched repeatedly before emergency responders arrived at the scene.

Rescue workers provided first aid to Mr. J., who sustained injuries to his face and the back of his head, before transporting him to Pattamakun Hospital for further treatment. A 19-year-old Thai witness told responders that he observed an initial argument between the tourist and a transgender sex worker, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation and eventually a group assault.
Local police have been notified and are reviewing available CCTV footage and viral video clips as part of their investigation. No arrests have been reported at this time.
