TAT Launches ‘Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges’ to Boost Tourism

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has officially launched the “Amazing Thailand Passport Privileges” campaign to drive foreign tourist spending during the year-end high season. The announcement was made at TAT headquarters by Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business Nat Kruthasoot, with support from Tourism Council of Thailand Vice President Bhummikitti Ruktaengam and Suvarnabhumi Airport’s Director of Airport Affairs Paninee Chaisrakeo.

Lalisa ‘Lisa’ Manobal named Amazing Thailand Ambassador

Running from November 1 to December 15, the campaign provides foreign tourists with discounts, promotional vouchers, and a curated souvenir bag known as the “Amazing Bag.” Visitors can join by presenting their passports at designated booths located at Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, or Phuket International Airports. A QR code allows instant registration and access to digital vouchers redeemable at participating hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions across Thailand.

The “Amazing Bag” features items inspired by the “5 Must Do in Thailand” concept, including dried mango, Muay Thai keychains, handmade crafts, and regional textiles. These gifts are sourced from communities across the country, such as Kalasin, Sakon Nakhon, Bueng Kan, and Chiang Rai. Lucky Bags containing premium gifts from tourism partners will also be awarded to randomly selected participants, with prizes valued at over 1 million baht.

Now in its second year, the campaign is part of TAT’s ongoing efforts to stimulate economic activity during Thailand’s peak tourism period. Officials expect it to generate over 400 million baht in spending, with benefits extending across service sectors and local economies. The campaign also supports the broader recovery of Thailand’s tourism industry moving into 2026.
