General Diving trainees, instructors banned from taking photos underwater

Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment prohibits scuba-diving trainees and instructors from taking photos underwater during their training and examination dives.

Snorkeling and Scuba Diving to be Unavailable in Phi Phi National Park in Krabi

The Royal Gazette has published the ban, which is a part of a new ministerial order signed by Natural Resources and Environment Minister Chalermchai Sri-on.

According to the order, the ban is aimed at protecting corals, which have been critically damaged by diving activities.
