Pattaya, Thailand – Pattaya police swiftly arrested three men involved in a vicious assault on a German tourist in the early hours of March 25th, following a shocking video that captured the violent attack on Beach Road.

The incident occurred at 4:06 AM, when a group of around ten men surrounded the tourist, launching a relentless attack. Disturbing footage shows the assailants punching, kicking, and repeatedly striking the victim with a motorcycle helmet, leaving him with serious injuries. A bystander recorded the assault, providing crucial evidence that helped police identify the suspects.

By 5:46 AM, Pattaya police had mobilized an investigative team, tracking down and arresting three young men seen in the video. The suspects were detained near the crime scene and taken to Pattaya Police Station for interrogation.

During the interrogation, the three confessed their involvement, but claimed to be unaware of the whole context of the altercation. According to their statements, a motorbike taxi driver had had a physical confrontation with the German tourist. The suspects, who knew the driver, wrongly assumed that the tourist was at fault and intervened.
