Patong, Phuket — Two Canadian nationals, identified as major drug dealers, were arrested in Karon after a dramatic chase that started at a police checkpoint in Patong.

Three Foreigners Arrested with Drugs at Electric Daisy Carnival in Phuket

According to a report by police, at around 5:10 P.M. on Sunday, January 19th, Karon Police were alerted that a black pickup truck had breached a police checkpoint in Patong and was heading towards Karon. The vehicle was later spotted driving near a supermarket on Patak Road by Karon Temple.

In an attempt to stop the fleeing vehicle, Karon Police executed a tactical maneuver, ramming their vehicle into the back of the suspects’ truck, which was then blocked by another vehicle in front, rendering it immobile.
