Five para-military rangers were injured, four of them seriously, when a bomb exploded in the pavilion of a monastery in Ra-ngae district of Narathiwat province on Thursday morning.

The rangers were taking a rest in the pavilion of the Chulabhorn Pattana 5 monastery when the improvised explosive device, planted in the structure, was detonated.
