363 people killed, 2,090 injured on roads in eight days of New Year holidays

A total of 363 people have died and 2,090 others have been injured in 2,149 road accidents across the country in the past eight days, according to the ‘Directorate to prevent and reduce road accidents during New Year festival’.

Road accidents claim 215 lives and 1,354 injured in five days

On January 3rd alone, 32 people were killed and 199 others were injured in 205 accidents.
