Russian Man Arrested For Allegedly Working at Money Exchange Booth in Phuket

On Monday, March 5th, the Sakoo Police apprehended a suspect identified only as Mr. Andrei, a 37-year-old Russian national, at a money exchange booth in the Sakoo sub-district. The arrest occurred after he was allegedly found working inside the booth.

Three Russians Arrested at Phuket Vehicle Rental Shop for Alleged Work Permit Related Offenses

Mr. Andrei was taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges related to overstaying and working without permission. The Phuket Express adds that it is important to note that work permits and visas are not available for foreigners employed as money exchange booth staff.
