Wat Yannawa Boat Temple, Bangkok

Wat Yannawa (วัดยานนาวา) is an old Buddhist temple in Bangkok built during the Ayutthaya period. Wat Yannawa is a temple with a very unusual structure, in the shape of a Chinese junk. The Wat Yannawa temple has a unique junk shaped chedi and viharn built by King Phra Bat Somdet Phra Nangklao Chao Yu Hua (พระบาทสมเด็จพระนั่งเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว) Rama III. It is located in the Sathon district of Bangkok on Charoen Krung Road, Bangkok, Thailand.

The temple was known as Wat Kok Khwai during Ayutthaya era and Wat Kok Krabue during Thonburi and early Bangkok era before the construction of the chedi.
