Hua Hin Railway Station, Prachuap Khiri Khan

The Hua Hin Railway Station (สถานีรถไฟหัวหิน) in the city of Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, is one of the most beautiful and oldest railway stations in Thailand.

It was built in 1911 during the reign of King Vajiravudh (Rama VI), and rebuilt in 1968 by adding the Royal Waiting Room also called King’s Waiting Room, a splendid wooden building of unique architecture.

The fragile wooden buildings have been saved after more than a hundred years. Every day, from this station, trains go to Bangkok and other Thai cities.

Hua Hin Station is one of the most outstanding stations not only in Thailand but also in the whole world. It is the only station, where almost a century old wooden buildings have been kept. It is noteworthy that the station also has a wonderful green area.
