Surin, Buriram, Chaiypahum fabric makers given technological innovation

SURIN, 12 January 2018 (NNT) – The Department of Science Service has introduced Color ID Labeling and a type of jeans textile to hand woven fabric makers in Surin, Buriram and Chaiyaphum to help them enter the Thailand 4.0 era.

Department of Science Service Director-General Umaporn Sukmuang chaired the ceremony to present the technology at Thongtharin Hotel of Surin province, welcomed by deputy provincial governor Pornpoj Bundityanurak. The event was attended by OTOP and SME producers of textiles from Surin, Buriram and Chaiyaphum provinces as well as officials from relevant agencies such as the Ministry of Science and Technology and the provincial industrial office.
