Man killed by gunfire at Chiang Rai road checkpoint


A man was shot three times and killed as he was driving past a road checkpoint in Chiang Rai’s Mae Saruay district on Tuesday night.

Sornchai Sathitdamrong, 35, was killed behind the wheel of his car at a New Year road checkpoint in Tambon Thakor’s Ban Mae Tam village at 8pm, his girlfriend Sirirat Rabiang said on Wednesday.
