Man arrested, 300,000 pills seized

CHUMPHON – A young man has been arrested at a road checkpoint in Tha Sae district while trying to smuggle 300,000 speed pills from a central province to the South.

An anti-drug task force stopped for a search a Toyota car with a Bangkok licence plate at the checkpoint on southbound Phetkasem Road in tambon Hong Charoen on Friday evening after seeing the driver acting suspiciously, said police.
