Prime Minister Prayut chan-ocha has instructed all agencies concerned to mobilize all available resources to help flood victims in northern provinces and to ease their hardships, government spokesman Maj-Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd told the press on Tuesday.

Although the flood situation in Mae Hong Son, Phayao and Nan provinces has improved as flood water has subsided in most parts of the affected areas, low-lying areas still remain flooded and many people have been affected and are in need of food, drinking water and medical supplies, said the spokesman.
