Christmas tree catches fire at Siam station walkway

An artificial Christmas tree with LED lights caught fire causing panic among weekend shoppers and BTS sky train commuters at Siam Square One late this afternoon.

The fire at the 5-metre high Christmas tree happened on the elevated walkway linking Siam Square One and BTS Siam station at about 3.00 pm.
