Phuket prepares early for bid to take Miss Universe crown

PHUKET: The first Miss Phuket Universe contest was officially launched yesterday evening (August 21) at the Kalima Resort and Spa in Kalim.

“We are going to find a perfect woman to represent Phuket in supporting culture and promoting tourism in Thailand and another countries,” said Chanitnan Tephabutra, the pageant’s PR officer.
