Phuket beaches are now slowly returning to natural beauty with concrete structures that were illegally built for decades to operate businesses are being torn down under the policy of the military junta to return the beaches to the people.

Now officials of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation began cleanup operation on the beaches.
