Yingluck Shinawatra leaves Thailand on Wednesday

BANGKOK, July 17 – Former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra will leave Thailand on Wednesday, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman does not think she will seek political asylum.

As the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) permitted Ms Yingluck’s overseas trip beginning July 20 to August 10, a source close to Ms Yingluck said that she would leave Thailand on July 23 and return on August 10.
