Jomtien Beach hit by oil slick

A 2km stretch of Jomtien Beach was struck by an oil slick yesterday.

Environment Agency officials and a small clean-up crew reported to the area of beach in front of Soi 15, where black lumps of oil were clearly visible, having been spotted and reported by tourists and locals. Some of these people had oil stains on their skin and swimming costumes.
